Andrew Flintoff MBE, or Freddie to you and me, is somewhat of a hero to many a man across the nation. From slaying the Aussies at cricket in The Ashes of 2005, to embarking on a successful career in TV, he’s very much an all-action discerning gent. Currently preparing to make his profession boxing debut at the end of November, you’d forgive the guy for having enough on his plate. But Freddie being Freddie, has added yet another string to his bow. It’s a rather stylish string too as he releases his latest Flintoff By Jacamo autumn/winter 2012 collection of menswear.
Elysium recently caught up will Freddie, in between his daily boxing double training sessions, to talk through his new range and find out his inspiration for the new styles and lines this season. As Freddie says himself “It’s about clothes that are comfortable and look stylish. My new collection does exactly that. It’s fashion that men want to wear, from suits to wardrobe essentials like jackets, jeans, polos and shirts perfect for mixing business and pleasure.”
Elysium found the new range to be dapper and relaxed – a good combination to have for everyday wear. This is coupled with the unique offering from Jacamo where men’s styles are available in larger sizes too – perfect for the bigger or taller discerning gent – much like Freddie himself. Here’s Elysium’s picks:
Charcoal Tweed Blazer £90
There piece suit (jacket £110, trousers £60 and waistcoat £40)
Oxford Shirt £39.50 and jeans £40
