Razor sharp wit. Slick styling. Every inch the discerning gent. Finally US law drama Suits returns to UK screens as Season 4 airs on Dave from this Thursday night. The ‘best closer in New York’ – Harvey Specter – is back in town.
Harvey, played by Gabriel Macht, and the gang return for what is perhaps the most explosive season yet. Picking up where Season 3 left off, there are lots of questions answered but more questions asked too. It’s about lawyers, of course there’s room for further interrogation.
Formidable law firm Pearson Specter is up against it and Harvey is now in the unfamiliar position of underdog, though he’d hate to admit it. With sidekick and protégé Mike Ross, played by Patrick J. Adams, booted out the firm after getting rumbled in Season 3 he is now taking up residency at a Wall Street investment firm. Harvey is a man down as he finds Mike is now his client and foes emerge coming for his blood. Does Harvey worry about it – he loves it.
Fans of the show will be glad to see other familiar characters return. Who will be on the receiving end of Louis Litt’s (Rick Hoffman) infamous ‘lit up’ treatment? Will Donna Paulsen (Sarah Rafferty) finally get it on with Harvey? Does Mike’s brain finally face a problem he cannot solve?
Another treat for fans this season is that both Gabriel & Patrick direct episodes during the course of the Season 4. It just means these guys are bossing things from both sides of the camera.
Tune in to Dave on Thursdays from 10pm to watch the story unravel. As Gabriel recently put it: “it’ll end in a holy sh*t moment!”
