So what can we expect from season 5 of Game of Thrones?

In the trailer, there’s Littlefinger telling Sansa to “avenge them” – “them” being the huge swathes of her family that have been unceremoniously murdered – Tyrion on the run after the murder of his father Tywin (you must recall the scene), and Daenerys promising to “break the wheel”.

Could this be the season when we finally see Khaleesi venture across the seas to conquer King’s Landing with her dragon force?

We expect the more heroic characters – Arya, Daenarys, Sansa – to make some major power plays in the upcoming episodes. Its high time vengeance played a factor in the murders, as well as the iron throne.

One thing’s for sure – the scale looks more epic than ever, with huge production values, and some major CGI money-shots. You only have to wait until April for the first episode. Check out the trailer for season 5 below and let us know what you think on Twitter.
