Tom Ford is a man of many talents. Designer clothing is his forte and it cannot be argued against that he does know how to make a discerning gent such as James Bond look good no matter the situation. Since Tom Ford took over from Bond’s previous tailor, Brioni, for Daniel Craig’s second outing as 007 in Quantum of Solace, he’s dressed the secret agent in a number of firsts such as 007 wearing a tab-collar shirt and the shawl-collar midnight blue evening jacket – both in Quantum of Solace.
Expect further firsts for Bond in SPECTRE as Ford continues to stamp his trademark looks over Craig. From the SPECTRE trailer we see the Tom Ford shades in a prominent role along with an off-white evening jacket. But there is further Ford vision in Bond’s wardrobe such as reverting back to the charcoal three-piece suits and Ford’s tell-tale large lapels and wide ties for evening soirées.
“I could not be happier to be dressing Daniel Craig as James Bond again in the upcoming film, SPECTRE. James Bond epitomizes the Tom Ford man in his elegance, style and love of luxury. It is an honour to move forward with this iconic character,” says Ford.
