May 2013 will see that Fast and Furious cast return, that’s right – just when you thought Fast 5 signaled the end of the series we get another installment!

 

Fans of the last movie will have stayed until the end credits to see Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) receiving a file about the hijack of a convoy in Berlin, featuring a picture of Letty – that’s right. She apparently survived the events of the Fast and Furious.

 

This is where Fast 6, as its known, kicks off – Hobbs offers the crew a deal – full pardons for their crimes if they help to taken down a criminal mercenary organization which is led by a super villain and his second in command – Letty Ortiz (Michelle Rodriguez).

 

 

The series has undergone a number of revamps as well as twists and turns. Fast and Furious brought the car racing underground scene to the masses – people were interested and MTV’s Pimp My Ride helped fuel the interest in cars….fast cars!

 

The next installment of 2 Fast 2 Furious lost Vin Diesel and its charm – poor story, movement away from the central theme and a poor cast kept people away. Tokyo Drift was a complete change in direction – a fresh movie with a new concept of the underground saw the series reinvent itself. However, it was still missing one thing – Diesel.

 

Vin Diesel’s return brought back fans from the original movie – an increase in numbers from the box office meant it was a welcome return to form. Fast 5 brought in another heavy weight – Dwayne Johnson, he gave Diesel and the crew a huge villain to square up against.

 

 

The Fast 6 trailer, which previewed at the Super Bowl, got everyone excited about the action, cars, stunts, soundtrack and characters return to the big screen. Comparing the concept to Oceans 13, without the Clooney factor, the movie promises more twists coming ahead.

 

 

Elysium Magazine has been discretely informed that it would be worth waiting till after the credits of Fast 6 – the next movie looks like it will have some more action from our very own Transporter. That’s right – Jason Statham is set to give the crew much more than they asked for in Fast and Furious 7.
