2015 promises to be a great year for gaming entertainment with a number of new releases teasing the trigger finger in anticipated arrival. But of all the big games due out in 2015 which are the ones to truly get excited about? Of course Elysium Magazine has its finger of the pulse of cutting edge gaming and picks out the five titles the discerning gent needs to get ready for in the new year.

Evolve

The premise of multiplayer shooters just levelled up in the highly anticipated Evolve. It’s the next generation in combat gaming with adrenaline-pumping four vs. one matches. Play as the Monster and level up to become an unstoppable force with your animalistic senses as four human enemies hunt you down. Or choose to play as one of the four Hunter characters (Assault, Trapper, Medic, and Support) to team up and take down your beast adversary before it becomes too powerful. The race will soon be on to become the apex predator.

Bloodborne

Do you crave the same kind of challenge Dark Souls brought to your gaming life? Brutal deaths and button-bashing finesse are the key themes of Bloodborne, an RPG from the same creators of Dark Souls. It’s a mix of romping dungeon fun with a unique game engine that creates new tombs and atmospheres for every play through – making the replay value a high one. This is one game that will take you an eternity to master but a mere split second to die. However the lavish gothic graphics and action will keep you hooked for even longer.

Batman: Arkham Knight

In the final part of Rocksteady Studio’s massively impressive Batman series, this could be the one to end all performances. With The Joker dead, Arkham’s criminals are led by an unlikely attacking trident of Two-Face, the Penguin and Harley Quinn all with the desire to kill Batman, along with a heavily armed Batman-esque Arkham Knight. With an huge and expansive city to explore and with the Batmobile at the ready, this is the big one.

The Legend Of Zelda WII U

Zelda games have always been big but the latest in the series is exponentially massive. There are huge rolling landscapes for Link and his trusty steed to explore, aided by the interactive map on the Wii U’s tablet controller. The new game promises to return to the very essence of the franchise that made it so popular in the first place – dungeons, caves, clever puzzles and side missions – the makers even say these side missions will totally distract you from your main quest. Nintendo know they need to deliver the goods on this one, from what Elysium Magazine has seen, the discerning gent is in for a treat.
