This summer The Great Gatsby movie has inspired many incarnations of the 1920’s throughout London. One of Elysium Magazine’s favourites has to be the latest pop-up bar in town – The Hutch Club at Quaglino’s in Mayfair.
Book a table one evening to enjoy the hedonistic spirit and decadent society of the swanky 1920’s at its most flamboyant. Take your seat at the Art Deco Martini Bar or hide away in the private drinking den – either way you’ll be treated to sights and sounds of the 1920’s as a host of entertainment is lined up throughout the summer until the bar serves its last cocktail at the end of August.
Expect an array of heritage cocktails whilst nibbles are in the form of alcohol-infused small plates such as salmon tartar with elit by Stolichnaya Vodka jelly & herring roe, duck breast with Courvoisier Exclusif VSOP Cognac, and smoked chocolate ice cream with The Macallan Amber Malt Whisky cream & mandarin popcorn for the sweet toothed discerning gent. Elysium Magazine’s favourite novelty of the bar has to be the gin & tonic flavoured gourmet popcorn. We can assure you it’s as intriguing as it sounds.
